A.S. Rodos 2008/09 Home kit with Official ''Liosatos'' Print Large
Condition: ★★★★☆
An extremely rare jersey from A.S Rodos with an official ''Liosatos'' print on the back. It was manufactured by Umbro and the size is Large. There is a noticable fade on the main sponsor ''OPAP''. Overall in great condition consider it comes way back from the 2008/09 season.
Dionysios Liosatos started his career in the academies of AEK Athens, he moved to a lot of teams such as Apollon Smyrnis, Acharnaikos, Paniliakos and of course A.S Rodos.
During the 2008-09 season, AS Rodos finished as runner-up in the Southern Group of the Gamma Ethniki for another year, breaking a European record by remaining unbeaten in all matches except the first one. In a playoff match, AS Rodos was defeated 2-1 by Panetolikos, the runner-up of the Northern Group. Following the playoff, the team faced a month of complete neglect. Antonis (Tony) Martinis took over the management, bringing new energy to the team. Approximately two months later, AS Rodos was promoted to the Beta Ethniki as a substitute for Apollon Kalamarias, who was relegated to the Delta Ethniki for not registering to participate in the 2009-10 championship.
