This kit is in excellent condition with a very rare name print of Angelos Basinas. A cross is visible on the front of the kit along with important quotes from the national anthem on the inner tailoring of the jersey. The size is XL.

The Greek national team, known as the "Ethniki," had shocked the football world in 2004 by winning the UEFA European Championship, but they couldn't replicate that success in the 2008 tournament.

Greece was placed in Group D alongside Spain, Russia, and Sweden. The team struggled to find its form and consistency, ultimately finishing at the bottom of the group.

Basinas began his professional career with the Greek club Panathinaikos in 1994. He spent several seasons with the club, during which he established himself as a reliable and talented midfielder. Basinas played a key role in helping Panathinaikos achieve domestic success in the Greek Super League.

After the 2004 triumph, Basinas continued to represent Greece at international competitions, including the 2008 UEFA European Championship, the 2004 and 2008 FIFA World Cups, and other qualifiers. He earned a respectable number of caps for the national team during his career.

Club-wise, Basinas had spells with clubs like Mallorca in Spain and Portsmouth in England before returning to Greece and playing for clubs like AEK Athens and Aris Thessaloniki. He continued to be a valuable presence in midfield throughout his career, displaying his footballing intelligence and work ethic.

Angelos Basinas retired from professional football in 2011. He remains a respected figure in Greek football, particularly for his role in the historic Euro 2004 victory, which is often considered one of the greatest underdog stories in the history of international football.
