Gjino, although born in Albania and having represented the Albanian national teams at the U-19 and U-21 levels, developed his football career in Greece after joining Olympiacos's academy at a young age. He excelled in Olympiacos's U-19 team in the UEFA Youth League and later became a key player for the U-20 team.

In 2013, he signed his first professional contract and was loaned to Fostiras in January 2014, where he had a successful season in the Football League with 21 appearances and 1 goal under the coaching of Jacky Mathijssen.

In the summer of 2014, he became a free agent from Olympiacos and signed a contract with Aris Thessaloniki. He made a total of 14 appearances for Aris (12 in the third tier and 2 in the Greek Cup).

In the summer of 2015, he moved to Panargiakos (12 appearances and 4 goals) and in January 2016, he transferred to Kalamata (10 appearances, no goals). Following Kalamata's relegation, he joined Panachaiki in the summer of 2016, where he celebrated promotion to the Football League. He continued with Panachaiki for the 2017-18 season before moving to Apollon Smyrnis for the following two seasons, making his debut in the Greek Super League.
