A unique, captivating, and innovative jersey featuring a metallic wave design. Frankly, it resembles something I'd apply to my car in a GTA game.

This kit is in excellent Brand New condition With Tags, the size is Medium and it features Nike's latest DriFit Technology.

Setting aside any humor, sincerely, this jersey carries a deeply poignant significance. It marks the first year the team altered the Hillsborough number on their kits, changing it from 96 to 97.

The Hillsborough number refers to the tragic incident that occurred during the FA Cup semi-final match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest at Hillsborough Stadium in Sheffield, England, on April 15, 1989. The tragedy resulted in the deaths of 96 Liverpool fans who were crushed to death in overcrowded stands.

In commemoration of the victims, Liverpool Football Club traditionally had the number 96 printed on the back of their jerseys. However, in a poignant gesture, the club changed the number to 97 for a particular season to honor the 97th victim, Andrew Devine, who passed away in 2021 due to injuries sustained in the Hillsborough disaster. This change reflects the ongoing remembrance and respect for those affected by the tragedy, emphasizing the club's commitment to honoring the memory of the victims and their families.
