P.A.O. Rouf is a Greek football club founded in 1947, based in the Rouf area of Athens. The club is well known for its deep roots in the local community and its strong fanbase. Its team colors are red and white. Initially, it was formed by a group of students who pooled their pocket money to buy soccer equipment, and they named the team "Aster Rouf"
A notable historical moment came in 1975 when Rouf won the Athens Amateur Cup, defeating Kallithea 3-2. This success helped propel them to the final of the Greek Cup, where they faced Niki Volos. The club’s name changed to P.A.O. Rouf in 1987, solidifying its modern identity
Rouf has had several stints in Greece’s professional leagues, including the Football League 2, and had notable success in the lower tiers, such as winning the Athens B Division title in 1995-96 and the 2002 Athens Amateur Cup
The club has a rich tradition of being closely linked to its supporters and local figures, including well-known personalities like the Yiannakopoulos brothers, who were influential in its management
