Match: Lamia (2) vs (1) Apollon Smyrnis | 27/01/2019 | Super League Greece | Lamia Municipal Stadium

This was the first time Lamia won 3 consecutive matches in their first campaign on the top stage of Greek football. An extremely rare matchworn kit of Vasilis Pliatsikas, a former Greek footballer who played for both AEK Athens and FC Schalke 04 during his career before landing to Lamia. In this winning game he played for 90' minutes.

Pliatsikas began his professional career with AEK Athens in Greece. He played as a midfielder for AEK from 1996 to 2003, making over 150 appearances for the club and becoming a fan favorite.

In 2003, Pliatsikas made a move to Germany to join FC Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga. He played for Schalke until 2005, contributing to the team's efforts in both domestic and European competitions.

Pliatsikas's time at both clubs helped solidify his reputation as a versatile and skilled midfielder, and he remains well-regarded among fans of both AEK Athens and Schalke 04.

The 2018/19 season marked Lamia's debut in the Greek Super League after earning promotion from the Greek Football League. They managed to secure 7th place in the top flight and competed against some of Greece's most established clubs.

In the 2018/19 Greek Super League season, Lamia had several key players who contributed to their performances:

  1. Adam Tzanetopoulos: Tzanetopoulos, a Greek defender, was a crucial part of Lamia's defensive setup. His solid performances at the back helped the team maintain resilience and organization throughout the season.

  2. Jeronimo Barrales: Barrales, an Argentine forward, was one of Lamia's main goal-scoring threats. His clinical finishing and ability to create chances made him a key player in the team's attacking line, contributing important goals to Lamia's campaign in the Greek Super League.

  3. Daniel Adejo: Adejo, a Nigerian center-back, brought physicality and aerial prowess to Lamia's defense. His commanding presence in defense helped the team maintain solidity at the back.

The kit comes with 2 Certificates of Authenticity (COA).
